First documented in the thirteenth century it was the capital of the Kingdom of Prussia (1701-1918), the German Empire (1871-1918), the Weimar Republic (1919-1933) and the Third Reich (1933-1945). After World War II, the city was divided but following German reunification in 1990 the city regained its status as the capital of all Germany

Burton Dassett, Warwickshire

This is now a country park run by Warwickshire County Council. It's a group of ironstone hills which rise to 203m above sea level. There is a 12th century church at the old village of Burton Dassett and outside it is a holy well which still provides water.

York

Denia



Dénia is the judicial seat of the comarca of Marina Alta, in the province of Alicante on the Costa Blanca halfway between Alicante and Valencia. A partial ruin of a fortress stands right in the middle of the town. There is evidence of human habitation in the area since prehistoric times and there are significant Iberian ruins on the hillsides nearby.

Lugo

Lugo is a city in northwestern Spain, in the autonomous community of Galicia. It is the capital of the province of Lugo. Located on a site above the Minho river and named after the Celtic god Lugus, it is the only city in Europe to be surrounded by completely intact Roman walls, which reach a height of 10 to 15 metres along a 2'5 km circuit ringed with 71 towers. The walk along the top is continuous round the circuit. These 3rd century walls are protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
